Your approach shot isn’t an attempt at a winner, and it isn't just a rally ball; it's a tactical setup for your upcoming volley at the net. Using angle and topspin, and aiming for depth or width - force your opponent to hit up or on the run. While pace and spin are your allies, never sacrifice control for raw power. Think of the approach shot as the assist to the masterpiece at the net – precise placement is paramount, setting up that easy finish.
